We don't do holly either arum, we have a bloke sat on the pavement opposite us 3 days a week flogging plants and stuff cheaper than we can buy them and he does holly wreaths with plastic pointsettia and calla on, we just let him get on with it and focus on doing really nice spruce wreaths with dried stuff and lovely ribbon bows.

Sorry, rococo is one of our hand tied bouquets, rococo style, I presume. Its that kind we do the most at the moment and at christmas we are adding cones and glass baubles ( like the things you can put on Christmas trees)and " glitter" Don't know what that's called, ( you add it with a glue spray) Silver ,gold ,cobber and so

Arum, it really p..... me of when someone is selling "our " items much cheaper than we can buy them but then as RA says, we have to do something better and we can.

I've been snowed under with funeral work since last week,,had some tragic accidents over here,,all very sad. Had bit of a nightmare with holly wreaths,,,not doing any more,,sticking to spruce now. Doing a good mix of all sorts really at the minute,,stuff for graves and doors,,most of my lighty up things have gone but silk table/candle arrangements are not selling as fast as usual,,don't know why. I bought a few smallish xmas trees in pots and have put lights and baubles on and am selling them nicely!! Quite a bit of my belgian stuff has sold now which I'm glad about,,the peacock coloured birds and butterflies have gone down very well!!

I'm knackered already,,IF xmas orders are comin in thick n fast now,,got my del folders out ready to start filing them into areas. We've been very busy with everyday orders,,lurching through the day and being very glad to get home!! It does feel like its really racing towards me now though ,,,I noticed a kind of semi-panic in the air today with a few customers. Local orders for xmas week are not comin in yet in any quantity but people have been asking about what we are doing this year and prices etc,,am gonna buy a flat screen tv and a dvd and have a slide show on a loop so they can stand and stare at the telly and have a rest and a chocolate while they decide what they want!! Also,,I have noticed I have been selling way more vases and glassware than I have ever sold before,,I don't know why,,but I like it!!
