Has christmas arrived?
Sooooo, its pretty quiet on here. Are we all up to our eyeballs in tinsel and glitter? (raffia and 'sparkle' for the poshos) Are the customers in a buying mood and what are you selling lots of?
We're selling loads of wreaths, all sorts of them, simple decorated vine rings, chilli rings, chrystal wreaths, you name it, they'll have it. People preordering arrangements too. I like december (I hate christmas though!) this is my first one in the shop so should be interesting!

We seem to have had a run on funerals
 . But people are also buying door wreaths and our dried table arrs, and asking about fresh arrs too. Our black and white window is catching people's eye, though there's a lot of comments about how while it is lovely it wouldn't do in their houses hehehehehe. We're selling glitter twigs off the back of it tho, even if the black baubles are sticking.

I had beautiful black and peacock feather wreaths, they were dubbed 'santas death wreath' by one customer! Most popular seems to be the typical reds, burgundies, golds and fruits. (much to my disgust!)

We would have sold a lot of candle decs if we had have them to day. We have been so busy doing preorders. Haven't had the time to do as many as we wanted to for the shop. Christmas has arrived in Helsinge.People are going crazy. It's not that fun when there is not enough hours in the day. We do what we can and maybe tomorrow we can do some for the shop. We are selling a lot of wreaths and hearts for graves, Christmas rococo's, advent wreaths and candle decs.

we've been quiet
 it was a bit busier last week, but dropped off again so far this week  Am having a lot of a nightmare with my holly wreaths as well, they are selling them a few hundred yards down the road (on the market) for £3.50 - they're costing me £4.50 + vat to buy!!!!!! think we're just gonna stick with nice spruce door wreaths, there's no way i can compete with that. moan over. s x

Nepenthes, whats a christmas rococo? Do you mean rococo style?
Arum, sorry to hear that, deffo ditch the holly and go posh. The vine rings are really quick and easy to do and are profitable. I dont bother with holly as the florist round the corner bangs them out for pretty much nothing!
