hmmmm,, thats a difficult one,,, because u arent supposed to keep his CC details... u would prob have to have somehting in writing that allows you to keep those details..
He could quite easily deny having ordered them, his CC company would then refund the monies.. Have had two customers that have done this to me and there is nothing you can do about it, except go to the recipient of the flowers or track down the A#####ole and beat him to death with a bamboo stem. (had authorisation from the card Co. and still couldnt get the money)

If he hasn't given you written authority to charge his card with random amounts (much like a direct debit) then you can't really charge his card. The fact that you have his card details is not enough. That's a bit like saying you know where someone keeps their wallet and they owe you some money so you are going to help yourself.
Of course, i would love to be able to say the opposite, because it's happened to me on numerous occasions and the circumstances are similar to yours. You start to trust people and then they let you down. Just goes to show you have to be very hard when it comes to money and never drop your guard.

send him a formal letter with a statement of how much he owes saying his payment is overdue, ask for immeadiate payment to avoid further costs. You never now he might just be on holiday

well if he has given has permission there is no real reason not to use his details if he disputes it surely the worst case is the card co might refund him and you'll be no worse off than you are now...is that right guys??

yep, worst case scenario would be that they refund the card,
Dont think the Card Co. would take it any further.... they just cant be bothered....... ......... If he did contest the payment, then i would visit the recipient and tell them what a tight arsed shithead he is, at least he wont get the credit for having sent the flowers.... ...... maybe even get his address from the recipient..
