See 'name this flower'
I would have a look at the Sphinx Gold Sally.
I have a bunch in the cooler that i bought on 10th Feb before val/day which i've kept for 'life testing'.
They are all standing up firm, green leaves and just a few damp petals on each one (which may have been avoided if i'd removed the cello wrap.) They've certainly gone the distance compared to a lot of roses and the color is good for 'gold'

The pleasure is all mine!
Whilst on the subject of 'life testing', i've still got a few stems of Ilex that i bought about 3 weeks before xmas, berries are still red and shiny. I did this last year and they still had red berries at the beginning of May, when i got tired of seeing them there. had they been out in the light, i think a couple of weeks would have been it.

I can vouch for sphinx gold too, it's a nice gold rose. Although they are one of those roses that 'look' open fairly quickly (just like sphinx), best to keep them in the cooler.
