Choose my first name (Sharon) for my shop cuz no one has that name around here! then added 'blumen + ambiente'- flowers and ambience...didn't want to go too "flowery" and wanted to stay obvious! 'Amanda' is a nice name, not too 'over the top' and its yours! 'Vanda' is a little bit more exotic-

I opened my own shop 2 years ago now in March. I found any bit of information positive and negative of benefit! Let me know if I can help at all, or what you need advise on.
The name is a hard one to decide alright. I'm mad about flowers on my life so I thought why not use it? That was that.
You could pick a name that is catchy and not too long and always use the vanda orchid as part of your graphics for shop, business cards or veichle? Thats if you do not use it in the name.

The name took me the longest to decide on.

In this town there are 3 shops including myself. I found that working in one of other shops before it closed, people never reffered to it as its actually name but to the actual person who owned it. Ie... not four seasons...but John's.

So I decided instead of coming up with a name that it would never be called i would just keep it simple and call it Amanda's.

it does sometimes work like that but mine is usally the name of the shop lets nip down to the ............. and i am so not giving it away on here
