Has the shop premises always been a florist?,what was it before?
for instance if it was lets say a Butchers shop,you could call it "BUTCHERS FOR FLOWERS"or it may have been a takeaway "CURRIES FLOWERS"really messes your mind up...but seriously amandalou's is a nice name stick with that and add flowers 4 u's(pronounced you's).

Being an 'amanda' too, i have used my name, but still got another name and florist at the end. Ppl in my town are a bit simple and might not have got it! Im lucky, i can read, hope to escape 1 day! haha x

First tip is to go searching on the web and find out what local florists are calling themselves - happens all the time you pick a name you luv then BANG theres already one two miles away!!!

Good luck - and prepare for an avalanche of bureaucracy!! Just make sure you don't let the b.....ers grind you down. And hold your nerve during the first year.

Youve made me feel much better! Today is Day two and ive done ok but im no where near making any sort of dosh anytime just yet haha. Need a good funeral at the end of this week to get rid of all the old flowers. Only got signage up last nite. Well, ive not taken a lot of dosh at all but atleast ive got something to put in the books. Is this the norm? im so used to working in older florist shops, its something ive taken forgranted! x
