Help With Hire Charges
I have been doing the hire out the vase and pay for the fowers for a while but i think i am under chargeing myself i usally say around the £2 - 2.50 mark should i be doing this for more????

I would normally try and cover the cost of them but it does depend on the complete package. If it clinches a deal and allows you to make a decent living in other areas then you'll cover it eventually. I would normally take a deposit of the full retail price so that if they decided to keep them (or smashed them) there was nothing more to worry about. Likewise i wouldn't take them back if chipped or dirty. If you haven't already got the deposit, it's very hard to get them to pay later. They'd normally just drop them off and let you sing for it.

we have a few different types of vases that we use for weddings a lot.
lily vase, martini glass, brandy glass etc... so the customer won't know the hire charge as we include in the overall cost of the wedding or event. but they do have to pay full cost if broken or lost. we charge them double the price we buy it at. |
