yeah can you imagine lol. on the site where I got those prices they sttrongly suggested re wrapping the flowers. tut.

Angry bbc news thread about kenyan roses
dont exactly know how i stumbled on this bbc news link this morning but to my disgust, there was a headline about valentines rose purchases, a goverment minister is making a big thing about the purchase of roses for the consumer and edging them not to buy eu roses but kenyon, talking about helping the eco and about the women in africa getting paid for there job and that they deserve to sell the most roses cos of poverty, and in this link there are a couple of other peeps joining in stating that this minister is telling people to avoid high street retailers and go to the large supermarkets,....i couldnt believe my eyes when i read it......so its ok for the uk to provide a decent wage for jonny forienger but not us....what the f is going on.....

Oh let me loose on those lot. I would have them for lunch!!!!!

As long as the roses are FT would that be true and how many supermarkets have that logo?

even then why not support us......
