Hiya
I tried doing a hand tie for my mum last week.
We have only practiced it the one time at college, I dont think it's an assesment, quite odd really as they seem very popular. Mine didn't look very round and I wasn't pleased with the end result at all, but of course mum was very polite Hurts your wrist after a while, and I too found at one stage I'd tied it so tight that I was breaking the stems, poor flowers had been mis-handled so much by the time I'd done. I definately need alot more practice Belinda |

Maybe a garden centre or a club old people/deaf club/special needs club/school or similar might be happy to have them I tend to squirrel things away and dread to think what I would do if I ever decide to move went away for a girls week the past 2yrs and hubby had a large skip both times so far I haven't needed whatever he dumped but who knows the day I will go to look for it

Belinda, keep practicing the hand-tied. I made up another last night and it was much better (although far from perfect).
