had fone call friday morning,,,for the first time EVER.... I had only put 11 roses in ,,and I know it was me cos I did all those I.F dozens personally.. I laughed my silly head off,,after begging forgiveness of course,,,I have never done that before,,couldn't believe it really,,oh my god,,it could be a bad omen!!

We had one lady come in Friday morning like a raging bull 'You delivered roses to my daughter up to the chemist' didn't remember but said yes anyway 'Well let me tell you they were delivered to the chemist were put in a cool place them my daughter brought them home AND guess what I saw this morning' then silence I am standing thinking ooops they have keeled over still she stood looking at me so I said 'Is there a problem' Her shouting 'Of course there is a problem that is why I am here' 'What is the problem' her still shouting 'There was no flower food on them' don't know how I kept my face straight while grovelling apologies to her and getting her some flower food felt like telling her she had little to do

Gotta tell you my funny story. A regular customer came in a couple of days before Val day and asked me if id ever posed for card company. She'd been in card shop in town and saw a valentines card with a florist on the front and it looked like me ? it jogged my memory, that about 5/6 years ago Paperhouse a large card company in my area asked me to do this for a humorous range. I never ever saw the card though or signed anything, or got paid !!! She came back a few days later with the card and Yes its me !! To my horror the caption on the front is suggesting that if the customer buys the other bouquet, it will gaurantee him a S#@G !!! i will post a pic as soon as i have worked how too !! Fame at last, but not the sort i wanted. !!

it is against the law for the company to use that picture if you hadn't signed a model release.. especially as they are making a profit on the product.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who gave us advices before our first Valentines day..... it paid off!!!
We ordered just the right amout of everything really! No roses left!. We had some very late nights and early mornings but I suppose thats the same for everyone! We had two wedding enquiries, we tried to very polite and explained we were a bit busy! We also took an order for a dudtbin lorry for a funeral this week too! That should be interesting! Oh yeah and just the usual like "can i have one just like that (pointing to a £30h/t) but for about £15".... er NO! and "I've already bought some roses from somewhere else but can i have something else to go with them"

Go for the royalties Goodie. If it's a large company they would only do print runs in the thousands. 20p per card should cover it
