I hear Asda were selling 24 roses for £4 for today only, anybody know if thats true? How are we to compete with that, havent seen how rubbish they. Good sign that they overbought though

Im just peeved cause Ive just come from the shop, have all my orders done and am still sitting with 200 roses to sell tomorrow, Im a tad concerned

None at my Asda,no signs nor empty buckets ,iv'e just come out of it(the joys of late night 24hr shopping)but if you would like to know whats happened to all that last minute trade that used to rush us florists off our feet,well they are all buzzing round the card aisle,then shooting to the flower area(it was 11.35 at night and there was a more than steady stream of men picking up flowers(be they good or bad it didnt seem to matter(i dont want to diss supermarket flowers becuse if you catch em on the right day sometimes they are'nt too bad)they had 12 grand prix with a scrap of asp fern for£30(not looking to hot)also a lesser(by a long way)offering 12 straggly unknown origin or name roses for £8.50,these were at best the kind of grade rose you can usually pick up forbetween 8-12p a stem.SO if they did have 24 for £4.00 i dread to think what they looked like.
