buying a shop

I am looking into buying a local florist shop that has just come on the market.
I am at present working from home.
I would need to get a business loan, any suggestions as to which bank to approach.
Any advice would be very helpful

Many Thanks
Lorraine

I am with Barclays, they are ok but I couldnt thoroughly recommend a bank cos they are all sharks. I will say though that Natwest are now called 'shatwest' in my book. Their service was a appalling. Look around for long free banking periods cos it makes a big difference.

Theres one that doesnt have bank charges.....is it the alliance & leicester? not really sure but do look out for that cause you get really cheesed off when you get charged for putting money in and charged for taking money out and charged for every direct debit, standing order and cheques you put in and write. If there was one near me Id use them but I need one in walking distance, was with TSB who were okay until they closed their branch near us. Now Im with Bank of Scotland, they are a pile of poo.

Abbey national who i am with are totally ree from charges as long as you stick to agreed limits when depositing money in cash or check.

can't remember what the limits are exactly but think it is 3 grand a week.

No problem there then hehehehe
