Illusion....don't normally buy these on spec, but looked so good this morning just had to take the whole bucket. Thought they would be a struggle to sell at the right price, but just putting 3 into a bqt makes so much of a difference. Even selling singles that wouldn't normally do with smaller roses. Like the lady who said she needed a single flower for her daughter...called...Rosamund. ...perfect!

If it's a September wedding how about hydrangea - the coloured ones start to get that lovely faded look with burgundy and green shades coming through. Great with Illusion roses. What about poppy seed heads and firework grass. Sedum is great too - the green/pink one is lovely with Illusion, the brown one would be nice with Sweet Avalanche and Pepita spray roses.

Can you still get Metallica? My main dutchman told me last year that there were no growers anymore, though you do still see it in wedding flowers magazines.

And as lady liked the idea of red, suggested Grand Prix would open up quite large given a few days notice.

Showed her lots of pics of coffin sprays but couldn't understand why i didn't have lots of pics of 'david austin roses'
She decided to turn her nose up and go away and think about it.

So i'm sort of hoping she pokes her nose through the door and sees the illusion so i can say.."sorry madam, they are all sold..and funeral wise..the pattern is full for the next 3 weeks.

I never used to be like this....must be the weather.

Ooh that worked. Thats one i did with illusion roses last year in Brighton.

Pretty! The euco leaves are like little butterfly wings too!

Was lovely, she married in the Brighton Pavilion and then they had photos taken down on the beach and on the carousel horses. The pics looked really vintage in Black and White.
