WHAT has happened to chrysanth prices??

The price of double has shot through the roof

Why is the basic stuff got sooo expensive - anyone any ideas for an alternative? I am struggling to make a profit on £15 bq

help.............Move price point to £17.50,then simply explain,that everybody and his dog has stripped this planet all but bare of flowers and foliage,and as such what little thee is is at silly money...hence nowt for £15.00 but we can do £17.50...

Why dont you use 15 quids worth of spring flowers, ok the stems aren't as long as xanth but you get a good fat bunch and its sooooo much nicer than xanth

yup obowl is right we've exhausted supplies with the peaks being so close, and two weeks between them wasn't long enough for a drop in prices

It's also I believe to do with the fact that they are trying to raise the interest in ayr again making them a favaourable contemporary flower for designers, rather than just being able to pick up a crappy bunch at the supermarket. Not my opinion but just something I heard...

It's International womens Day on March 8th which is HUGE in other parts of the world and people have been buying since last week to make sure they have enough. That's why prices were high for our Mothers Day and staying high.

I reckon we should start an international florist's week! Where flowers should be cut down to rock bottom prices!
