Placing an order
I have just tried to place an order with a florist in EH52 area, and she would not take the order from me as she is an IF florist. Do they rule these florists shops? I said to the woman how do they know I am another florist, I will not tell them, you do not have to, and it was part of a big chain of florist shops too, I found another in the area that I had no problem with.

Interflora do not allow their members to accept orders from other florists and it is in breach of thier rules.

Teleflorist do allow their members to accept ordrs from wherever and Flowergram used to but I don't know their position as of today. will ask the question as doing a feature on value of relay etc.

Am I going to comment as to correctness of rule. No, not here.

When phoning an order off yesterday the other shop asked If i was a member of any organisation. When they discovered I wasnt they said that it was fine and they would accept the order.

No wonder florists are reluctant to pay humungus fees and with all the rules and regulations that go with it.

Teleflorist dont allow you to become a member or another relay company but as far as I know if another florist rings with credit card then thats okay. This does make sense to me but why interflora dont allow their members to accept this type of order is beyond me, just another reason onto my list of why not to become IF member

Double standards!!! They have dual membership in the USA, I know of an ex member who also did postal packs whilst being IF. I had one refuse an order a couple of weeks ago "their loss" because it was expensive!!! try "2"00before the dot.

I know a florist that I worked for that was a member Teleflorist, but if some one wanted flowers sent outwith the city we had to send them through the shop boxed flower service.
