Cake!
I'm demonstrating for the WI in April, it's their 100th anniversary and I want to make them a cake out of flowers. Has anyone done anything like this before? Any tips or pointers? Ta muchly .

Roses would have to be first choice Rosa, purely because they are non-toxic. You will have to remove all the seedy things inside the flower heads as these tend to play havoc with dentures. I would go for self raising flour and perhaps a little gelatine. Don't overcook as the petals will be burnt.

Thanks all i've got the idea from the book "Tasty tables " by Annick van Wesemael. Its a really fine book, full of wonderful designs.
