any ideas???
Just got some flowers from dutchman, stems like amarylis, heads orange fine and spikey, bit like agapanthus with green outer leaves/storm petals. A bit water lily like I suppose. He had no idea what they were ...... neither have we. Sorry can't do pic but if anyone has any suggestions I would be grateful. Ta

It sounds a bit like cut Clivia.

The stems wouldn't be as big as amarylis.

I don't think I've ever seen them as cut before but it might be.

Thank you so far. Jo Dave won't let me into his garden but it's not crytanthus. Not nerine MT, not clivia Treen, KP keep thinking.

Imagine an orange nutan (leucospermum) encased in water lily type leaves on an amarylis stem. I will give a gift to the first person to give me the correct name
