My water bill is between 45 and 50 a month, plus i have a flat above which i have to pay water for...... ...... have been wondering whether to switch to meter for ages, prob is that both the flat and shop are on same pipe so I would have a Meter for the one...... in total I pay about £1100 a a year for both prop's, im guessing that the meter should be to my advantage ..


Was told by water board that once i have the meter im stuck with it BUT I heard on TV that if I didnt want to keep the meter it was possible to change back within a Year........ Is that correct peeps ?

when i got put on a water meter FBA, the letter came with a leaflet that said you could change back within a year if you wanted to.

i pay £12.81 a month for water. jeez what is it with your water, maybe it has healing powers


at the mo i pay £57 a month for electric but will be moving suppliers soon so will elt you know how it goes

Can't remember the figures but i seem to remember our water bills were about 10% of what they were before we had the meter. Wasn't even being careful with water use either.

Water rates are based on your Rateable value of the building (i think) so bigger the area, higher the bill, least thats what the guy on the phone said..... regardless of the fact we gonna use the same amount of water ?

Got my form in this week to apply for my small business discount on my rates. This year i can apply for an 80% reduction and next year it will rise to 100% Although the water meter will be added onto that...should still save me some cash though!!
