mine were 45 quid a month with no meter but approx 15 with a meter

I know tried to ring water and electric today to get an estimate and none of them could help me,so thought id ask you kind lot

how much?. Well thats opened my eyes, I pay £70 something quid every month for water. Scottish water are extorsionate are they not? Robbing b******s, I'm fuming, my water must be bottled or something, I'll ask them that tomorrow. They have put in meters but dont switch them on till April sometime........cant fn wait

We're not metred, thank God!

There are seven of us in the house, and we all have baths, no shower! The washing machine does about 7 loads a day! Dishwasher at least twice. Can you imagine?!

I used to pay £80 per month for electricity and £17 per month water(metered)Used a brilliant firm for phone, called one-bill, loads cheaper than Bt and never had a problem.

I remember when the guy came in to put in the meter and I was quizzing him about price etc. cause I was a bit concerned about the price going up. He told me that mine would probably stay about the same cause there is a standard charge for sewage etc, which is I think he said £45....so my bill is £45 before I even have a drop of the stuff
