St Josephs Lily?
A groom has emailed me with his requirements for wedding flowers. Bit odd but there you go. In it he has stated 'St Josephs lily'. Have googled it but it pulls up either Longi lily or Amarylis. Have asked my flower man and he had no idea either. Any ideas please?

Hmm - see what you mean, there seems to be confusion as to whether it is a longi lily or amarylis - doesn't really matter which is the right one become said groom could be wrong as well.

I'd just send him an email back with pictures of both, explain the common name is the same on both and which did he mean....

Weirdly he has attached a pic of calla lily though!! Hmmm. It must be longi because its an august wedding and amarylis isnt in season then. Will give him a call I think.

It would look like a clown flower that squirts water!

Its odd cos it looks very much like he's been quoted already by someone. God knows how they've come up with that!
