Not sure if anyone has mentioned it already but back to basic's, work out your 'break even' then you can see where you stand. I need atleast £60+ per day to break even. Im a new business so thats my aim. I know its ridiculous, because we cant predict whos gunna come through the door.
List all the bills into a 'per day' List average flower costs 'per day' List any rental (card terminal, balloon gas etc.) 'per day' Add them all up. This is the minimum you need to take to break even, without making a profit. Below, trouble, above and you are poss making a profit. If you have staff, take them into account too! So that could be: Water Elec Shop rental Council rates Internet Streamline BOC gas Flower Wholesale Plant Wholesale (gifts i dont take into account cos there 'sitting stock') Van insurance shop insurance buildings insurance Any repair/depreciation costs etc. probs missed loads off, but thats off the top of my head! Hope it helps you a little! |

Thanks amanda.. my hubby ( the tight hole is taking over that and i think he is like you said doing it similar to that) I impressed myself yesterday, there was a wedding show in one of the wholesalers and i went with a budget of 200 in mind and i did not go over it I only bought what I really needed, usually I could leave around 1-2 K, so hopefully I can ull it back and at least pay myself from now on...How much do you ladies allow yourself as a wage. i'm thinking 200 which is around £160... ???

Ive been workin the last 2 years for quite a bet less than that in wages. Put it up this year though due to growing up and buying property ![]()
