However my passing trade is pretty low and there is noway of changing that, so maybe enough is enough. I know how to hang in there, dig down, hold on tight etc, done that been there got the gold star for it, but this is not a passing phase, I can't work any harder or be alone so much anymore.
If I didn't know better, I would have thought I wrote that. It is just how I am feeling, my shop is up for sale

Haha aww! My parents arent liking the tables being turned and having me as boss, because, lets face it.....there in my world now

Was 19 when i opened the doors. Doing it now cos i do want a family of my own in the future and i want to be a proper stay at home mum if money allows! I'll post some pics of my shop as soon as ive worked out how to shrink em!

Would love to move out if i manage to buy a shop property with a flat above but i cant cook to save my life!

If any of you want to mother me and pay some of my bills and makesure ive got a nice wardrobe (cos i look like a charity bag right now!) feel free!

Have you thought about a council flat? I was in exactly the same boat as you. Moved at 20, 6 months after opening the shop. Now 2 years on and in the process of buying an old shop to renevate into a flat. I do however own the shop rather than rent it. My mortgage works out a lot less than the rent that some pay

Thats my thoughts. I pay just short of a mortgage i imagine. Id love to buy and have a flat above. Thats the plan once my lease runs out/get bored of tit landlord. Current shops tiny and a bit damp like most in Hull.

Hull's full of council flats and that, but theres mega big lists to get in, and there naff areas. Would rather stay at home for a while yet. Dont like the thought of living on my own too! Not ready to grow up yet! One step at a time me thinks!

Still got a small pot of money left for future mortgage, dont want to dip into it. Unluckily i live in the part of UK which house prices havnt slipped(cos there low already but still, high to us!)

Waiting for the right property to come up (or another shop for sale!)
