Well I don't know what the hell is wrong with me ..but it's getting me down. Murphys law is pounding and grounding me at the moment... I just cant seem to get figures to balance my account is overdrawn i'm broke to the ropes, what the hell am I doing wrong..do I need to tighten my belt? Do I need to charge more? I'm at a loss......and of course my bad mood is not helping me.... anyone out there hit a wall and are lived through it.. guide me please.

I feel your pain...stick with it though, I know its easier said than done.

I have felt like this since Christmas, I had to open Christmas Day cos we had over £1000 worth of stock, (and i have got 2 little girls 9mths and 2yrs) normally we dont have 1 single stem left, but boy was it different this year!

Its the type of business we are in unfortunately, one minute you are crazy busy then the next you will be lucky to get one person through the door!

Stay positive, im sending you possitive vibes, send me some back, I bloody need them....lol!

Seriously though ladies. This is a tough business unfortunately. As hard as it seems Tina... you'll battle through! Bet there has been a stage for most on this site where they thought they couldnt go on and just wanted to give up.

Florists are fighters! ( or just stubborn?? Maybe thats just me ) You can get through it, we're all here for moral support. Chin up

just pull your reigns right in hon, run on as little flowers as poss and you will get through it, if people moan just say that you prefer to get little and often so they last customers longer. While your quiet motivate yourself to make some appts with local venues, get yourself out and about and maybe make a couple of freebies for local good hairdressers to drum up a bit of extra business!! Chin up though, been there done that (still doin it), just dont get carried away at wholesalers, sit down and re check all your costings and check your profit margins, i do this periodically and then you may decide to pull a stem out of each bouquet, this will help! Ask staff if they want any unpaid leave?? Dont spend a penny unless that is going to turn into two! Hope this helps

Pull in the reigns gonna have to do that.. I just ran a fellow out of the shop for asking for sponsership.. poor man got it in the neck for me I feel bad now but someone was gonna get it today.. thats the husband safe i guess.
