Am I Mad???
Hello
my name is leigh and I am new to this site...needed some advice if anyone is happy to help- it will be grately received... I am thinking of opening a florist shop. I went to college and did a two year part time course, worked in a florist for nearly a yearly and in that year did funeral work wedding work day to day orders of hand tieds etc... every monday I was in the shop alone and basically took charge on that day. I am very artistic and feel I have a real flare for floristry, I have also done a few workshops. Do you think I am ready for a shop of my own? I feel ready but do not want to run before I can walk???? Thank you all messages gratefully received!!! |

, Ideally I would have said get more experience but there are people who have opened a shop with less experience and done well, so really its up to u, If you feel confident enough then go for it if thats what you want....life is too short. If you lack in confidence then Id say work for someone else first, the more expeience you have under your belt before going it alone the better![]() |

Hi,
I think goldengirl and apple are right the more experience you have the better but if you feel ready now go for it and good luck...life is too short as apple said... and if it is something you really want to do it will can only succeed...you could have 10 years experince but no drive and then you are more likely to fail, so I would rather be in your place...I learn something new everyday ;-) |
