Suppose it all depends on the Fd, we have a couple of guys that work for Co-op and they reccomend customer to us, customer calls in and we take order and monies, then we give the Fd Cash in hand for the reccomendation..... but thats between us and the fd himself
, as far as i know the FD's in this area Do not add to our prices, they have a price list and show this to their customer,, most of the time the FD sends the customer to us and we invoice the FD.

i cant get in with the feckers, someone got it sown up but i am like amanda, occasionally they will send them to us and then we just sort it out. Some fd dont take any money and i heard that a local one to us takes 20% and then wants them for cheap as well so sometimes you have to do your sums really well and make sure that if you are giving mega discounts they are giving mega orders or it just wont be worth your time.

I can't get in with our local one either Tulips despite the staff saying our flowers are much better. It is really difficult because when the folk are there arranging the funeral and the fd sticks a brochure under their nose they are probably not in the right frame of mind to think of going elsewhere. I took some tributes today and there were some others there (interestingly not from the normal florist) and they were crap, think some of the flowers were deader than the corpse

We can't get in with our local f/d because they do there own they've now got Lord knows how many branches across the county and their own florist business which supplies them all have recently seen their price list which includes a red rose coffintop (not full length a bit vague on size) for 120.00. It did make for intersesting reading though they charge 65.00 extra if you want to view the deceased if you want 1 dove released that's an extra 50.00 (not bad when you consider it's a homing bird)
