as you can prob tell i am looking to expand my product range and i would like to include boxes of chocs. i have no idea of a good supplier and have looked but would really like a recommendation, maybe someone who supplies pos with them and at a reasonable price. anyone know anything??

i have seen a florist shop in business briefing apple that has chocs in heart boxes in her shop. I am going to email her cheekily and ask where she got them from - not sure what she will say though

, I did have some thorntons chocolates through teleflorist but they didnt go down that well really cause the coop next door had the same ones for a couple of pound cheaper

Thanks sosa, just had a quick look at that site but it looks quite expensive and not much mark up, is this the case with chocs? Is it not like normal mark up?

I've not used them because I have the ones my relay offer. Though I think these look much nicer the packaging is far superior and looks classier. Generally the mark up isn't as much as flowers. I think we double the price of ours. The price the website has stated is only the recommended retail price, you could charge whatever you like for them.

thanks sosas, youre right about the packaging, they do look nice but six chocs would have to be retailed at £5. Not sure my customers would go for it but will keep on looking!

I stock the Hamiltons chocolates. They are pretty expensive, but, the packaging is really nice and my customers dont seem to mind the prices.
They are also pretty tasty- of course we had to try them!!!

Apple - Have you tried the sweet factory beside Country baskets in glasgow? Not sure what they stock but I used to know of a florist who bought chocs from there
