I had 2 turn up on Valentines Day wanting to take home a mock bouquet there and then, I politely told them to come back another day as its the busiest day of the year, oh we forgot they said, then I told them we charge for mock bouquets, they look horrified, does anyone else charge as I'm begining to doubt myself

you just made me laugh rach.
Ahem, straight face.... yes, I charge for mock bouquets although most brides decide against them when I tell them they'll still cost the same as the real thing! One bride wanted 4 mock ups of vanda orchids for her hair, when she came the 3rd time and I reminded her the cost is going on the end bill and it was £25 a pop- her face was a picture. She was getting them for dress fittings, veil fittings, showing her mother, hair practices. Round the bloody twist. |

So how do you put it across in the initial quotation. Surely the bride still wants a full rundown of what she will get before she commits to the contract with you?

Well I haven't met a bride yet that didn't want to know exactly what she was paying for before she paid the deposit. So wats your secret ? You must be a cool looker? What do you think anyone?
