Hi Flower,
I use Microsoft digital image pro 10, bought it off ebay second hand for £10. Its really good for speedy croping & resizing. I also have a tent i think they call it a light cube? Very useful but someone pinched my camera from work and no matter what i do with my new one i just cant get good pics! ![]() |

It's not just about pixels, it's also about the focal length of the lens. Although on a standard digital camera you can get some good shots to get really really professional close up shots you're probably better of with a digital SLR camera with different lenses.
I'd have thought sharper close up images with a standard digital camera can be achieved with the macro mode and by using a tripod to keep the camera perfectly still. Try google's photo editing software called Picasa, I've heard good things about it so might be worth a shot. |

My photographer friend told me once that it doesn't matter what kind of camera you have... its all about the lens thats on the camera. Not sure what programme he uses, although I know he uses photoshop quite a bit. Will try and find out though.

the more pixels the better the quality..
for resizing and retouching, i would recommend photoshop elements, it does the job and is easy to use. DONT EVER USE PAINT... it will ruin all your images. as sosas said do a search for the best cameras that are available, if you can afford an slr they are great. good luck. |
