I hate making up a bouquet in front of a punter! I absolutely love making them when I'm on my own, but I panic when someone's watching and everything goes to hell and a bucket! Does anyone else have the problem that they need glasses to do close work but cannot wear them to do anything further away? I get confused and forget to put them back on and then can't understand why the bouquet is a blur - I once thought I would snip a bare stem off a flower in a bouquet I was just handing to the customer, forgot I needed glasses and ended up snipping off one of the leather leaves I'd carefully framed the arrangement with. The customer was in a hurry and had to go off with it as it was... Needless to say, he's never been back (though I did give him an instant and substantial reduction!).

This thread really made me laugh!

Mine too are paperwork(no accountant just yet, and im three months in. I got loadsa recipts!)

And toilet paper and LOO SEAT LEFT UP!

I pay around £9k a year for the privilage of renting a shop which the toilet is a part of, my dad dnt pay a penny yet he leaves the seat left up!

MY SHOP MY RULES!

Also agree the loo roll has to go 'out' not 'in' its due to bathrooms and condensation, no one likes soggy loo rolls!

Tulips you will have to star a new thread titled pet hates within the floristry business, we think in pictures and all I can picture is man things with a bad aim...sprinkling bathroom floor and walls..... and for the record toilets.. seat down, lid down, paper rolls.... a luxury.. the news of the world goes very far. and cost efficient..

water up here we call juice pop so when you asked for a drink of pop you were told to get corpie pop or corpie lemo which basically meant go to the tap
