rosa its fell really funny for us this year, last year i had no weekends at all free but this year a few weekends but more doubled up. most not too bad cause only small but there are a few biggies and i think what i find is the brides who want the big weddings usually want to get married in the summer as well therefore are the same weekends - possibly anyway
![]() anyway glad getting a few more in now, was a bit worried for a bit that did not have a lot in. Mind you the last three i have seen this week are doing their own table centres - feckers!!!

sim to rozza really.
We invite all our brides to come and view their flowers at 4.30pm the day before, not everything will be done by then but the main things like the bridal bouquets etc usually are so it gives them a chance to see the stuff. Last weekend I had a small wedding and I did it on the morning as the wedding was at 2 p.m. Wouldn't do that again, it's more pressure and you can't always predict how busy you're going to get in the shop. Plus, you never know if you're going to be delayed for whatever reason on the way to work. Would much prefer leaving knowing it's all done. That said, it doesn't stop the nightmares of me having visions of the shop falling down, flooding etc etc ![]() |

pretty much the same as rosa, but i have been playing with the idea of starting the b/h's by making them but leaving the heads on the stem and then finishing off day b4??? if you know what i mean, lol

There was only one time i remember when i wish i had done the pedestals on site. I'd bought a load of that (can't even remember it's name was so long ago) green stuff with creamy berrries (snowballs?). worked well as a filler with the other flowers. So did two of these huge pedestals up the night before and as i was carrying them down the path into this lovely old 13th century church i had to fight my way past all the overhanging greenery with creamy berries that made up the hedge. Acres of the stuff.
