I picked up a flower leaflet today in M & S whilst getting my lunch. They have a selection of 'boutique' flowers, several priced at £99. One example is 30 stems 60cm avalanche roses
approx 15 stems of green hypericum berries surrounded by asparagus fern, finnished with green textured wrap. Just priced it up myself with all the usual mark ups I can't make this any more than £70! - without feeling that I've ripped someone off. What a WOPPING profit they must make?? I'm jealous! ![]() |

Perhaps I ought to add that in general the shorter avalanche are around £1 in the shop I work in. If however we were to order a higher/longer grade then yes probably aound the £1.80 mark. The ones I'm talking about are available via Van Vilet and are very good for arrangements etc if you don't need the length of stem. They are around this price even in the height of the wedding season, so keep your eyes peeled.
