Opening New Shop
Hi all
I am opening a new shop soon and would like some help on a couple of things. First if anyone can help with any shop fitting would be good! I am really after a wooden set of steps for putting the flower buckets on or where to get one from. Also does anyone have a list of things to do when opening a new shop just so i dont miss anything..... Your help would be great and most appreciated. |

we opened our shop 7 weeks ago and it is going well i guess, the thing is to write a list then edit it then write it again then again and again (you get the picture) everytime you think you have nailed it you will think of something else that you need. a lot of people told us not to buy in too many flowers to start off but my fear was that people would walk in and say "omg not much here" so for the first couple of weeks we had to dispose of a lot of waste flowers which is so disheartening. but we soon developed a hard skin and now as we get busier each week we throw less and less away. the thing we always do even on our little 3 quid ready mades we staple our business card to everything, im sure if a customer stood im my shop long enough he would leave with a business card stapled to his ear hahhaha. good luck with it roll up your sleaves and have fun .
