Looking at flower and wholesaler buyer mag this month it is going on about plants etc and gives some good pics. However, looking at ones in glass vases etc, i have found that by the time you cost for stones and fillers etc the final retail cost can be quite expensive. I had some ready made up from my regular wholesaler one time at mothers day that did go down really well but he does not do them all year round. Does anyone know of anywhere i can get these, i am in the north west. I have tried metz site but cannot get access to it to see if they do it as i dont use them.

Any advice anyone???

we use metz and they do some plants like that but they are a little on the expensive side to be honest. metz are fine but you have to put in a £200 order each time! we did decied to get some to see how they went but here in south wales they dont seem to want stuff like that (much to my disgust). Speak to your usual supplier to see if they can get them for you?

yeah, like i say he did have some really nice stuff in at mothers day (not very good with plants but begins with g and is tropical?) Not ginger. I will mention again but dont hold out much hope. Thanks for help candy

it was lilylady who said its a bromeliad, (she whinging about not getting a cocktail now, my life will never be peaceful again) we have an orange one in the shop, we got ours in ikea, they are great for reasonably priced plants! could work if you bought the plants at ikea... just an idea
