I have a florist friend not far and we have a pact that we would try our best to cover each other in the instant in case of an emergency!!

along these lines-I bashed up my ankle last week on a dirty, rusty balcony planter, thought I'd broke my ankle it hurt so much!(did ya hear me yell F*+#K??!) and went to the docs to get the gash taped and he asked me when my last tetanus shot was.....erm....well, I've been in Germ for 11 yrs and haven't had one over here! So down went the jeans and in went the shot and I HATE needles! But just a reminder for all of you who are as put-off-ish as I am...get your shots! You never know what will happen tomorrow!!
(and really, the shot didn't hurt as much when I got it in the 'cheek'! lotsa strudel there to dampen the pain!)

My parents mentioned this too, but my best bud's got florist shop so she'll help me

I believe Floriguard insurance do cover for accidents in the shop, but not elsewhere! How much would it even cost to insure your hands?! x

I got it added onto my insurance that I was covered for working outwith the shop premises

Sorry forgot, im covered for working off site e.g. wedding fayres, weddings etc. But what about e.g. if a nasty dog bit my finger off? Can i say i was erm trimming some trees in the park for foliage therefore working offsite lol! x

From my days of being a dog owner (Hannahdog now sadly in dog heaven) I had insurance on her which covered me against claims for injury if she had a wobbly moment. It's usually included in pet cover although sods law being what it is you'd get bitten by un-insured dog. C

Sounds like being hit by an uninsured driver!
