Our town is a bit funny. It used to be two sides, the wick side and then the pultney side. There is the main town centre which was originaly the Wick side. The shop is on the pultney side in their "town centre". Well i say town centre...its the main shopping street on this side of town.

I'm local, my husband helps but not with the floristry but apart from him I have no regular staff, although I do have 3 that help as needed, mainly peaks and large weddings. We are under a year old though, I'm hoping that one will become full time by this time next year.

We are in the centre of a small town - however.........
the town is divided into two streets - Commercial Street has all the butchers, greengrocers etc whereas our street has two pubs, a bank, several food outlets, a high class family run jewellers (next door) several hairdressers, a Mother of the Bride dress shop, a photographers, a stationers (the other next door) a surf shop (even though we are at least 30 miles from the sea) and a couple of cafes. We are less than a year old and have two full time florists - Candy and me - with occasional help from my 79 year old mother who loves to condition the flowers!!!
