cascade
first shop I work in was call Cascade Florists, we had a cascade of water running down a wall...thought that worked as a name, second shop was called Four Seasons...that's ok....but third was Fountain Flowers....why, what has a fountain to do with a florist.
Think a place name of somewhere pikey with florist/flowers would put me off. ![]()

I don't like my shop name The Flower Pot, to me it seems old fashioned amongst other things, was going to change it when we took over but everything happened so fast never got round to it but we need a new sign outside now so I'm thinking about it

This is one for Carrie who has 25,000 flower shop names. Which are the 10 most popular names ?
I've only got a couple of thousand listed and the most popular are the obvious ones e.g. names that include the words Flower. Flowers, Blooms, Buds, Bunches, Petal. They may seem old hat but you've got to consider the marketing side of things and pick a name that people automatically associate with florists. I've come across a few names where i've thought 'is this really a florist shop?' There's also the 'listing' order. If your shop name begins with 'A' you will be near the top in all the directories. What looks a bit naff though is where you see something like "AAAAA Lovely Flower Shop"
