I need help!!! (what's new I hear you all cry!!)

Our bridezilla's wedding is fast approaching. She wants a "flower burst" type arrangement to go in a tall lily vase (50cm). As much as Candylottie has tried we just cannot seem to get the "flower burst" look. It all goes well until we try and put it in the vase then it looks like a rocket!!!

Any ideas from anyone how we can achieve the look bridezilla wants? We will have 40 tables to decorate on the day (luckily the "do" doesn't start until 6.30pm, so we will have the whole day).

what about using oasis and a junior dish, we have some lily vases that they fit into perfectly and they are brilliant for this type of arrangement

im just haveing this problem... bride wants the same as yours, but nothing inside the vases !!!!! i just know they will steam up with the covered oasis plug we normaly do, so been tyring every concivable dish bowl pot the lot...
i too am going insane!!!!!
one bolw fits on vase and then try the next vases and the same bowl dunt fit aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaa
got the top bit fine just the mechanics r doing my head in !!!!!!

yes amanda, but im finding it hard to get a dish to fit the vases as the tops r all diff sized !

but we do an oasis plug so the top dunt matter
thiswks bride wants it to loook like a all round symetrical design s the bottom is flat making it look like a canopy ?????

and box king the small boxses would be great but up side down so the thinner part gose in to the vase ...and the fatter part at the top if you get me?

Could you not make it on an oasis sphere and just pushing it down onto the vase once its finished?? Few flowers pushed slightly out the way, just to get the vase to push into the sphere?

Or just push the sphere onto the vase to mark where it would sit, and not flower that thin line up so that it will still go onto vase...

Does that make any sense??
