I wouldnt worry about it too much. I dealt with a supplier when I opened who wouldnt deliver to my shop unless I bought at wholesale levels ie pallets of! The other option was to drive to the back of beyond at two in the morning to
meet them, er, think not. Not sure why they'd take your password away. I'd ring them and see why, wouldnt surprise me if one of your competitors vetoed them supplying you. My nearest competitor did this to me. |

I don't know the details, but what it could be is that the password they gave you was a temporary one. When they say 'turn you off' it simply means deactivating the account as you have chosen not to use it. Some online wholesalers require a minimum weekly order. If they get the impression you will not be using the service they will not allow you to use the site. I looked at using Metz at one point and they gave me a password until I decided not to use them and so they deactivated it.
But as I say I am not sure of the details of how you discussed the account with whichever firm it was, but it doesn't sound to me like its detrimaental if you are not going to be ordering online with that firm and getting your flowers from a land based wholesaler. Don't be upset, am sure everything will work out fine ![]()

That also could be another point is that they already supply someone in your area...but is odd thinking that companies won't supply you simply as someone else is having their stock...personally would have thought they would have been happy to take your money!

It's not easy trying to figure out who to use but although i use Metz quite a bit - they have a £200 minimum weekly order, i still use two other suppliers that are a bit more local (75 miles away). I can't imagine that Metz would deactivate my password for not using them every week. I would find out why they pulled the plug on your password. My nearest competitor and i use the same suppliers and sometimes get things for each other so i don't understand anyone being upset about using same suppliers. sheesh.

We decided not to use metz as I say and the password they gave us was strictly temporary...they did call to say that we could only use it for a set amount of days just to look at the site.
But don't know why they would pull New Girls tho if she hadn't made up her mind....But then again I don't know if it was Matz that New Girl was looking at.....

It makes me soooo Mad!!
Why do wholesalers think that they are God!!!! They are so full of crap, why deactivate an account just because you haven't used it? Places like this forget that little fish grow up to be great BIG ones, if they're not interested in you at the start of your business then why honour them with your custom. Can you imagine if us as florists treat our customers this way, we'd soon be out of business Well if I was you Newgirl I wouldn't use them again there are plenty of wholesale options out there for you Good Luck with your new venture, hope your business flourishes Kaz |

Eventually they started calling round to her though, but it took them long enough.

what gets me is that I cant even look at their site anymore. So when I get more with it, I cant even compare. I felt hasseled. You wouldnt say to someone you cant come into my shop unless you are definatley going to spend money.
