they have huge ones for the winning horse or race driver - without the spray on

They are the things that racing drivers receive after winning a race.Made out of Laurel Leaves. They are also used as sympathy wreaths in US not sure about Canada. Does this help

chaplet
chaplets are teardrop shape you offten see them decorated with laurel quite an old fashion thing ! aint made one since collage hop this is of some help
