I read something in fhb that the silver tabs are for a tiny bit of Oasis, if you close it up it makes a square, I have never tried it I don't think it would be safe, I use the pearl ones from Oasis.

I can't use those wrist things
I often use the inside of a parafilm roll... you know the plastic bit?
I cut this so it opens up and then put a layer of parafilm on to make it more comfortable to wear.
You can then attach your corsage and cover with nice ribbon

Or I have been known to make a corsage and sew it on to a nice bit of ribbon which can then be tied in a bow to attach.

I don't think either take any longer than the velcro/metal things

What I've been doing as an alternative to the velcro isto wire the corsage onto a piece of ribbon and cover the wire with tape.
At least I know that it is secure as well as pretty and will match in with my customers outfit, rather than looking as if they've nicked a wristband from the orthopedic dept at the hospital on the way to the wedding

corsage straps

sorry for the delay in responding to this one only just joined. The wrist corsage i have tried unfortunately my customer came back and said it fell off. I glued the materials on like they do in america but for some reason it didnt work.

Do you really bend the prongs then only i didnt do this that may have been the reason. Been really shy about using them again since.

Have used the velcro ones successfully if glueing put piece of pot tape on then the glue will stick or make corsage and bend prongs over then glue on leaf or bow to hide end of stem sometimes just wrap end of stem with bullion
