What sells well in your shop?
...And I don't just mean flowers.....
Do you sell gifts and if so what do people in your area buy? Just a) being nosey and b) thinking we could all pick up some tips and ideas? We sell the usual plants, vases etc but have recently started buying in children's crafty gifts (ie paint your own mugs' etc, which are going well, also gifts aimed at gardeners. We have also started advertising for doing little girls parties, and have had a lot of interest. Anyone else got any good ideas for something to sell/diversification as we head into difficult times? |

We have them making bracelets and necklaces out of flowers, little posies, mug painting, things like that. Depends on their age, really, as to what they do.
Not bad at £10 each! |

How big is your shop Rhosyn? If I held a party it would be limited to 5, I couldn't fit any more in.

Er not sure exactly but pretty big lol, with a separated bit at the back of the shop.
We bought some little tables and chairs which we lug in when we have a party. I'm going to do a flower mural on the walls around it soon when I get chance too! |
