yeah, i would think a pet shop ian, not that i buy fish but i know the local one sells fish. I would make sure and buy fish that are unlikely to die in a short time, really dont know much about fish but am thinking would look really bad if any died
, you may even get reported to the RSPCA . How are you going to do it, fishbowl with glass inside for flowers maybe? ![]() |

Bad
Think it's a really bad idea subjecting live fish to this kind of thing. Any kind of small bowl is inadequate for fish, plus the noise and pollution is very stressful for them....
The RSPCA would take a very dim view on this. Suggest you think again and have something different...... ![]()

Hi Apple
Thinking about it is a bit daunting I mean the fish. I would even know how much to charge. I was think of rose bowls place on a wreath of oasis the design it from there really. I am seeing the bride on Tuesday so I will talk to her again. If anyone has any ideas of what they would charge I would be grateful. Ian |

I haven't agreed to it yet I said to leave it with me and then I will get back to her wen I see them on Tuesday. Maybe if they want black I could do black stones and aqua roses. |

Hey apps, remember that competition piece I did for sfe at college all those years ago? I had to carry that bleedin' goldfish of Marian's in a coach all the way to Birmingham and back only for it to die a fortnight later
![]() Thought about those coloured glass fish you can get Ian? Shops near to seasides usually stock them, possibly not what you're looking for but would need to be coloured to stand out in the water... yeah, I agree, best telling the bride to forget the fish, maybe you could have the fish bowl without the fish and make it look like a fish tank would with the black stones and reeds etc. you could sit it on a wreath ring and have foliages and roses at the bottom as well as in the handtied but that is a lot of work and would definately charge quite a bit for that, a lot of time and work goes into that kind of design, I would say £70 - £90 with the base, handtied and fishbowl, but you would have to work out the costs really, thats just a guess. leaving out the wreath base would cut it down a bit, hope that helps
