someone has enquired how much the candelabras are to buy, i normally just hire them...how much mark up do you all apply to big items like these

Someone once said something like....if you're selling ice creams..500% might make you a decent living...if you're selling jumbo jets...1% will do nicely.

Don't get too carried away with percentages. You want to sell stuff. There's no profit in things sitting on the shelf. Pitch a price that you think the customer will be happy paying and that you'll be happy selling it for.

with things like sundries, especially if pre ordered, there's little risk involved and as long as you don't have to make a special trip to buy it or have to deliver it, it's a totally different ball game to selling perishables with a high risk element.

And...don't ever look back on a sale and think...."I sold it quick....must have been too cheap" Just be happy you sold it and move on to the next one.
