Handtied Posy
Finally got to do it today, and got a Distinction, so very pleased.
My question is, they were fresh pink Roses from a wholesaler and looked fine when I made the arrangement up, but now I have got it home the petals are full of brown marks, almost like brown cracks. Does anyone know what causes that, is it something I've done wrong with them? If they were for a wedding I can't imagine anyone would be happy with them, so I'd like to know how to stop this happening, it's happend before to my roses I'll post a pic in the gallery later. congratulations on your handtied belinda!
sounds like bruises on the petals belinda if the top of the roses have been squashed or knocked it sometimes happens, some roses are more sensitive than others
