Hi Deb, I think there's nothing wrong with a bit of healthy competition. Sounds like you've set up something totally different to what he's doing. Miserable git by the sounds of it, too many early starts! I would be ever so sweet and nice to him as it will make him feel much more awkward than you retaliating. Also its easier to be friends than enemies as you never know when you might need to do swapsies! I'm really lucky to be in a town with two other florists, we all beg, borrow and steal off each other which is really handy. Best of luck to you. I've only been open three and half months so know what its like and how exciting all is so don't let him p*** on your fireworks.
