I logged on this morning to see all hell had broken loose!!

Good for you Jim for starting the thread, totally agree - wtf is the point of these boards if you can't voice your opinion!

potty...... do you take your baby into work with you????

my baby 'george' was 5 months on 17th. i was back at work 1 week after having him, and i love having him here. he is a celebrity in his own right at our shop, as for some they were coming in throughout my pregnancy and feel 'part of it' all. he has loads of people cooing over him, and imn ot short of people wanting to take him for a walk along the seafront when its nice.... but i dont let him out of my sight.

we have made his own room 'george's spaceship' which is all carpeted out, and has a stairgate up, and has alot of his toys in, plus its chill out time for me..... i leave the staff to it and chill for 15 mins.... fab.

I have my 'hairy baby' here with me. He's called Nelson and he's a black staff. He's a celeb too. More people come in to see him than me! He's good company too. Makes me laugh.

Josh goes to family shops just too small and chilly for him it would be great to do him his own chill out room. he starts a lovely nursery on Thursday just starting with one day a week thats cost enough £31 !!! he was born on the 29th Jan but was due on the 18th!! little tinker didn't want to appear he was 8lb 13 oz owwwww my biggest baby and lasttttttt!!!!!!

dds: how much space do you have by you? thats great that your baby has that space.. and much better for you too..

when my baby was born we were still in the old place until she was 1. so it was a lot easier, because we were only open a few days a week and my family also helped out a lot.

potty: when did you go back to work after? and btw.. is the nursery registered becuase you may be able to get some of your costs back. i get some of mine back from my registered childminder. pm me if you want details.
