Ellie...if they're happy to buy it and they accept that it's not fresh and it means you get your money back...be happy..You might worry that someone will come to visit them and ask where they bought that sh#t but..think about it. People always leave their fresh flowers till they're way past it so it's no different really.
I know we all have our standards and our pride...but we also have our mortgages.

yeh we usually tell ppl its not as fresh as the rest so we will sell to you for cheaper.
there is one guy (hes awful actually!) he doesnt come in a lot. but when he does he comes in at the end of the day on a friday and asks for everything cheaper.. so when we refuse he says " what you dont sell things cheap at the end of the day? like tesco?" !!!! we really dont like him so we say no... anyways i have seen him doing this by a lot of other people .. but some people will do this... strange. |

people also want to buy the things you can't sell ie a bucket full of wedding flowers or want to buy the whole wraps of flowers that are lying on the floor waiting to be put in water instead of the conditioned ones i've just displayed. then you get
"i'll have a bunch of those" me- "yes thats fine, there are 5 bunches in that wrap" "oh, is there?" whilst looking at the ones on display. me "they're wrapped up tightly in this bunch for transporting, its not one big bunch- dumb ass" "I'll take 2 stems then please". |
