Had really yummy hydrangeas in today, unbelievable colour. Named 'Brilliant Autumn' but matched exactly with the 'Old Dutch' roses we were using. Never seen this colour before?
Hope this may help anyone who needs to plan for this scheme.

i had some in today called berlin blue/pink,

they were like a beigy pink, dont know where they got the blue bit from

Oooohhhh I loooove hydrangea!!!! I have an all hydrangea wedding this weekend, bride is having a mix of pink and purple handtied for her bouquet, bridesmaid is having cool water roses added through, tables are goldfish bowls with massed hydrangea inside, top table has the most scrumptious lilac delphinium with cool water and pink hydrangea and the cake has a posy just of hydrangea on each tier. And I could still eat more of it, it's so delicious!!

Funny, I used to think it was an old lady flower before I was a florist, now I have loads in my garden too. Have never seen a horrible one! It even dries nicely and we use it in Xmas decs!

I have trained myself to block out anything over 65p on their rose list I get too cross otherwise takes too long trawling through when I have to exclaim in wonder/anger/bafflement at the prices!

whats the secret,

maybe i should try it
