Hi,
When level 1 started last year the room was packed, but by the end we had got it down to a really nice group of about 14. I found out last night that one of the girls who quit half way through actually passed the course! What a joke! I don't think she even completed half the practicals and to the best of my knowledge didn't even submit her folder. It kind of makes you wonder why you bothered doing all the form filling yourself.

I will know most of my level 2 group - most of us did level 1 together and one other girl was on the 5-week summer course I just did.

I cant wait to start learning real techniques and stuff all Ive done in the past before this button hole was to cut flowers from the garden or the fields and plonk them in vase. As far as Im concerned let the time wasters do what they want after all it'll be there grade that suffers not mine. I must be careful though as I am the biggest procrastinator I know!

Sorry, know this is a student thread but I had the same on my course. You'll probably find some people will get loads of help and do very little to pass and the ones that are good are left to get on with it and are expected to really\ pull out all the stops. No idea how it all works!
I'm a bit jealous of you all. I loved being back at college, clinging on to my youth I suppose! I did make three really good friends though who I still see. |
