Hi all,
Have to design a fashion item with an influence of someone who inspires me, anyway I've come up with this dress design which is all pom pom balls, (will add pink carnations for flowers bit) it has to be mostly natural materials so am using rafia and wool, any ideas for a natural material that I can make into pom poms??
Also I want to make a few out of carrier bags, as its a recycle theme, but the dress will be monochrome pink, do you know of any outlets that use pink carrier bags?!

Shredded Typha would be like wool...but would take loads and v time consuming...collegue of mine did a snowman with bullion wire pompoms, but not exactly a natural material tho!

How about garden twine?

Have you thought about pink raffia pom poms?
